The Church with the Light and the Life
I am the light of the world:
He that followeth me shall
 John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again
  unto them, saying,
not walk in darkness, but
shall have the light of life.

Hello, my name is Ken Evans. I grew up in Cody Wyoming and was saved at the age of 13 while attending Grace Baptist Church in Cody. I attended Northwest College in Powell Wyoming majoring in engineering, and in March of 1980 I married Natalie Ringler; in May of that year I graduated from Northwest with an Associates of Science degree.

Upon graduation we moved to Tulsa Oklahoma in hopes of completing my engineering degree, but God had other plans. After moving we quickly found and joined Heritage Baptist Church in Sand Springs where God began to work on our hearts through the Ministry of Pastor Jim Kimball. While there the Lord impressed upon my heart to surrender my life to Him. After our son was born we moved to Mission Texas where I taught High School math and science in a Christian school at Rio Grande Children's Home. It was there God began to fine tune His call for us.

In 1985 we moved back to Cody Wyoming where I taught in Grace Baptist School. For the next two years the Lord was gently leading us in a different direction. The Lord made His call to the ministry clear and in 1987 we headed to Bible College to prepare for the ministry. In May of 1991 I graduated from Tabernacle Baptist College with a Bachelor of Biblical Education degree. In June of that year Tabernacle Baptist Church of Virginia Beach Virginia ordained me for the Gospel ministry.

We moved back to Cody Wyoming where I was Assistant Pastor at Grace Baptist for two years. In 1993 God called us to Baker City Oregon to start Baker City Baptist Church. We ministered there for 10 years.

In December of 2002 the Lord then lead us back to Wyoming. We ministered in the little town of Meeteetse for six years. Later, the Lord led us to Big Horn Baptist Church in Worland Wyoming. We labored there for another six years. Now the Lord has blessed us with a call to Miles City. We have been in Miles City since November of 2015, but the Lord has blessed us with a loving and vibrant church. We are truly looking forward to seeing the Lord do a great work.
